Company Overview
Targon-GEAN Overseas, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “TGO” or “the Company”), is a Texas based corporation. TGO undertakes two types of businesses in US namely Consulting and Trading. The consulting has two areas, one is focus on Industrial and the other is on Service. As the Company is dealing with various machinery companies in China, TGO US will help them to analyze the machinery information from US and that they will pay consulting fee to TGO.
To ensure the successful development of the machinery trading business in the U.S., the Company currently requires Mr. Jian Lu’s managerial services in the position of CEO of Targon-GEAN Overseas, Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Lu will direct and oversee the trading and consulting on machineries. He will strategize the mode of business. He will analyze the business and provide recommendations and reports to the Board of Directors. He will liaise and negotiate with suppliers on behalf of TGO. Mr. Lu will provide the best corporate policies and formulate business strategies necessary for efficient conduct of the business. He will also establish financial goals and direct budget preparation. Mr. Lu will have the authority to bind the Company to agreements. In addition, he will possess the authority towards maintaining a healthy relations with his employees, direct their training and dismiss employees. Mr. Lu will exercise wide latitude in discretionary decision-making and daily business operations.
Specifically, Mr. Lu will direct and supervise marketing specialists to carry out market research including a comprehensive study of the China and overseas regulatory system to develop marketing strategies for machinery trading. By utilizing his managerial experience and machinery expertise gained from working for the Parent Company, Shanghai T&D Trading Development Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “TND” or “the Parent Company”) in China, Mr. Lu will be in charge of directing marketing of new products, and development of plans to enter new markets. He will provide guidance and make strategic decisions on behalf of the Company. He will act as the focal contact between Targon group and its U.S. and South America clientele. He will direct and coordinate TGO’s financial and budget activities to fond operations, maximize investments, and increase sufficiency. He will also analyze current business operation to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
History of Targon-GEAN Overseas
Targon is derived from words: Target and Dragon. GEAN stands for Global Expansion through Acquisition and New ventures. Targon-GEAN Overseas (TGO) is U. S. based corporation partially owned by Shanghai T&D and it’s expanding in the U. S. A. TGO’s main focus is industrial consulting and trading, however, TGO president Kent Lu’s vision is to diversify its consulting business. TGO acts consultant for travel service, education and recreational training (see under service section tab)
Management Team
Jian (Kent) Lu, CEO
Kent brings over twenty years of industrial consulting experience as a CEO of TGO. However, his passion is beyond industrial consulting and trading. He is passion is about learning about California wine, explores California coasts & cities and invites his counterpart in China to do the same.
Kent is appointed as CEO in TGO since 2007. Prior to joining TGO, he has been employed by Shanghai T&D Trading Development Co., Ltd as General Manager since 2005. He holds an MBA from Fudan University, Shanghai, China.
Tirtha Dong, Operations
Tirtha joined Targon-GEAN Overseas, Inc. in May of 2016. He has over ten years of management experience in cost reduction and revenue increase. He earned an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in San Francisco, California in 2007. Tirtha holds several professional licenses.
Jonathan Bleier, Internet Marketing Manager
Jonathan joined Targon-GEAN Overseas, Inc. in July of 2016. He has over fifteen years of management experience in internet marketing. He is experienced in Google, Yahoo, Bing, Facebook, Baidu, website development, and SEO. He is a top Silicon Valley web designer and Search Engine Optimization Expert. He has experience in web development in the USA and China specializing in corporate websites and high volume internet traffic.
(Cindy) Yan Xia, Project Manager
Cindy is in charge of tea project. She manages and coordinates both the USA and China tea trade for Targon-GEAN. She has experience in Project management for several USA China trade companies.
